We had another fun and successful MantaFest event this year, with a lot of the participants being numerous-repeat customers. Although our dearest friends and presenters, Tim Rock, Ray Bullion and Frank Schneider were unable to attend, we were grateful to Ikelite for lending us Logan Wood as our guest presenter this year. Logan added a new and young perspective to our event with his seminars and underwater know-how’s.

A dive day started with two tanks during the morning, then an afternoon dive after a scrumptious lunch and on some days we even went further and did a blackwater dive in some of the world’s deepest ocean depths. The first week greeted us with calm waters and beautiful sunshine, and due to a tropical depression brewing in the area, we were met with days of isolated showers and choppy waters, BUT that didn’t deter us from diving. Not a day was missed of diving due to weather and everyone came back with beautiful photos and exciting stories about their day.

Blackwater Diving added to MantaFest!

A new activity was added into this year’s MantaFest, with the introduction of our blackwater diving. The gang had several blackwater dives during the event, which was a uniquely weird treat to say the least. Every blackwater dive was an exciting adventure with alien-like creature sightings and colorful marine life that seem to be straight out of someone’s imagination. The popularity of this new activity has led us to incorporate this dive on a weekly basis and upon request, most especially during the non-tradewind season (June – mid November).

Looking Forward to MantaFest 2025

We are planning bigger and better things for MantaFest 2025, with the theme being “Reminscing of the good ole days”, with some of our old videographers and photographers during the earlier years of the resort being our guest presenters along with our event presenters. We hope that you can join us in 2025, and if you book MF2025 before March 31, 2025 you can get a complimentary room upgrade!
