We’re excited to share highlights from another memorable MantaFest in Yap! The 18th Annual event brought together new and returning participants for two weeks of diving, hands-on learning, and creative exploration at Manta Ray Bay Resort.

At the heart of MantaFest is the photo school, where presenters Tim Rock, David Fleetham, and Logan Wood led daily workshops, seminars, and cultural shoots that helped participants grow their skills both underwater and topside. With dives ranging from manta encounters to wrecks and this year’s new blackwater adventures, there was no shortage of inspiration. A special highlight came from visiting artist Susan Watkins, whose reef mural featuring a manta and turtle now lives at the resort as a lasting memory of 2025.

Alongside the photo school, MantaFest also hosts a friendly photo and video competition — a fun way to showcase what participants have learned while vying for some truly exciting prizes, including dive travel and top-tier dive gear. The Manta Ray Bay Resort & Yap Divers Family extends heartfelt congratulations to this year’s winners for their creativity, dedication, and artistry.
