    Mnuw, looking good for Christmas

    Posted by gm@mantaray.com on December 21, 2010
The S/V Mnuw, our 110 year old schooner and without doubt the most unique bar and restaurant not only in Yap but the Pacific, has been getting a touch up so she is looking perfect for the festive period.   It is an around the clock job keeping the Mnuw looking good and ship shape for...

The early bird catches… the fish?

    Posted by gm@mantaray.com on December 12, 2010
Repeating visitors of Manta Ray Bay Resort might be familiar with the Grey Reef Shark nursery at the “Elbow“ in Mi'l Channel. After almost 25 years of diving Yap, we never had the opportunity to witness a shark giving birth. However, the pregnant females off the Western side seem to either stay close to our...

    Guck mal, wer da schwimmt…

    Posted by gm@mantaray.com on December 12, 2010

    Posted by gm@mantaray.com on November 16, 2010

    Diving Yap Island with Valerie

    Posted by gm@mantaray.com on October 14, 2010
This really isn’t Valerie, at least not this time.  I am writing for her as I have tried a number of times to get her to do a blog of her dives but to no avail.  Maybe if I start, she will get into the mood and the hang of it.  Like all fathers, I...

    Castaway’s “Wilson” ist zurück – runderneuert :-)

    Posted by gm@mantaray.com on September 16, 2010
