    Posted by gm@mantaray.com on September 21, 2012
36 years of SCUBA diving in Yap, over 14,700 dives and today was one for the ages. I am regularly asked what my favorite dive is and invariably I answer “Yap Caverns, because you never know what you are going to see.” I have seen pilot whales, whale sharks, oceanic silver tips, oceanic white tips,...

    More Manta Fest Media

    Posted by gm@mantaray.com on September 6, 2012
Today we have some shots from Ray Bullion and Ken Sutherland. Ken's been here several times for Manta Fest and when it comes to diving Micronesia, Ray's about as old school as it gets. There's two days and one night of photography left for contest participants. Friday night everyone puts their cards on the table...

An Afternoon in M’il Channel & Manta Fest

    Posted by gm@mantaray.com on September 5, 2012
Dives like this are about as good as they get. Yesterday a group of seven hit M'il Channel on a gentle incoming current in Yap's blue water. After you splash in you glide down to 80 feet in crystal clear blueness. Everyone in the group started the drift like a bunch of kids playing in...

Please scroll down for English version. "Also wirklich - ich wollte heute früh Wimpelfische fotografieren.

    Posted by gm@mantaray.com on September 4, 2012
[caption...

    A Yap Divers Day

    Posted by gm@mantaray.com on September 3, 2012
This is today's status straight from the boat to your browser. This morning was a classic Bill Acker tour of the Pacific reef. We've been getting outstanding conditions with great vis and a strong wildlife presence. Yesterday a group came back from Goofnuw channel and all the chatter was about Yap's clear blue water, even...
