Give your kids the vacation they will never forget, even if they are not divers. For sure they will love it here. While you as parents are out diving we have the option for your kids of a tailor-made kids/child-care program.
Our kid’s program is a mix of childcare, babysitting and kids activities for when their parents are out for diving. We teach the kids about the island, Yap’s culture, history and of course have lots of fun! The programs are developed for the kids that are too young to get certified or those that are certified divers but don’t want to dive on a particular day. We can tailor-make the activities keeping the ages of the kids in mind. If there is a significant age gap between kids, we adjust the activities to their age and interest.

Find Bill’s Treasures
Treasure hunt around the resort with prizes being miniature keepsakes of Yap and pool activities such as finding certain items at the bottom of the pool.
Captain O’Keefe’s Secret Forbidden Island
Kayaking to O’Keefe Island and a history lesson about the island’s history and picnic lunch.
Meet the Jungle Doctor & Bamboo Rafting
A day with a real traditional doctor learning how to make miniature bamboo rafts and a day at the beach with BBQ hotdog and chicken luncheon
Mangrove Kayaking & Fishing
Half-day kayak tour with bottom fishing using bamboo poles that kids make with their guide
Fun at the Beach
Beach day with packed sandwiches and cold salad
Visit a Yapese Family in da village
Family Day – A day at Danup House with local lunch provided by the host, net fishing, lessons on taro patching and gardening
For each day we have a different theme/program. No need to sign up for the entire week as you and/or your kids can choose what theme and how many days of activities. Each day/program actually takes about 4-5 hours. Enough for the parents to do a 2 tank dive.
